No, that's over for now. The reason for the clip prizes was to motivate people to contribute more. Based on our experience, the prizes did not help in that regard.

Most of the really good contributors didn't even claim their free clips (probably because they don't care about staged lifts). Also, no-one seemed to be talking about the prizes, probably not even caring that they were there. You are the first to ask what happened to them, even though it's been two months without prizes.

Another reason is that we should really have gotten more clip producers involved - it wouldn't be fair to Rachel and Taylor that only they were expected to give out free clips when where are other producers advertising here.

Based on how little the clip prizes meant to our members, and how much work it would be to keep doing them, we believe it's best to end the experiment. Sorry.

That's too bad. That was a huge motivating factor for me. Shocked to hear those weren't claimed. I was really looking forward to a Rachel clip one day thought that was one of the best ideas you mods had. Saddened to hear that few agreed with me. Won't stop posting, but nothing to shoot for anymore.

One reason to post even after having reached the highest VIP levels is to help keep the forum alive. That's what motivates me to post - if this forum didn't exist, there's so much L&C content I'd never see, no matter how much time I spent looking. Having everything in one place sure makes it easier.

Regardless: If more people complained about the end of clip prizes, I would talk to more producers and see if we could get it started again. But I need to know that a significant group actually care, as managing the prizes takes more time than you'd think.

If we bring back the monthly prizes be assured that it will be retro adjusted much like the first month was last time. There are a lot of new producers and want to let them get their feet on the floor before we consider asking them.

I do not know in which category I fall. I started as an avid lift and carry fan and now I am a producer too. I will be more than happy to offer free clips for monthly prizes if required. You can always count me on this.
